Reference numberE000284DescriptionThe land for this site was originally owned by John Morgan ley in 1896. Fanny Carroll, wife of Thomas Henry Carroll, a boat builder, purchased the property in 1898. The Carrolls operated a boat building yard next door. Another boat builder, Alan Harry Moore Sargent, purchased the property in April 1940. The M.R.D. bought the property in the late 1970s and the building fell into disrepair.
