He was a friend of the founding artistic director of Spare Parts Puppet Theatre Peter Wilson. Entitled " The Mask" the exhibition included paper pulp masks of Fremantle personalities such as the Mayor John Cattalini, Noriko Nishimoto (Spare Parts Puppets) and Mama from the deli in Market Street next door to the Post Office. It ran from July to December and was held in the foyer of Spare Parts Puppet Theatre No.1 Short Street.
