Reference numberE000005-13DescriptionThe Swan Brushware company was founded by Albrecht and Co 1896 moved their brush factory to new premises on the corner of Duke and George Streets in 1901. The two storey building with engine room and machine shed attached was at that time the only one in the state. WA woods were used in the manufacture.
