Antony (Antonino) Paino was born in 1922, he left Christian Brothers College at fourteen years of age to work in the fish shop. He remained there until c. 1964, when he left the company and had no further association with it. Subsequently he ran a delicatessen/fish shop in Subiaco for six years before taking a world trip with his wife Francesca.
