AuthorDenney, Joyce, 1922-; Campbell, HeatherDescription Joyce Denney was born Joyce Marra Thompson in Victoria in 1922. She met her husband, Alfred James Denney, at Luna Park in wartime. They married and had seven children. When they returned to Western Australia, they lived in East Fremantle and then in Suffolk Street. Joyce started work in the old Meals on Wheels Centre and became cook. She desribes the routine and procedures, staff and volunteers at Stan Reilly Centre. Later Joyce returned to Stan Reilly as a resident.
